I was thinking that all learning (and goals) can have two different directions but only one destination.
We can learn by following what is going right/well or we can learn by doing the opposite of what doesn’t work/isn’t going well.
Either way, we can only learn (or achieve a goal) when we know what we WILL do. The brain thinks in positives.

We can follow the example of those walking around the pool or we can decide to walk when we see someone run and slip on the concrete. Either way, the destination is to walk safely around the pool.
This is an example of learning by doing something different.
